We are a participating organization in the Options, Inc.’s popular Week of Chocolate during the first week of February, 2010. Our event, “Ebony & Ivory: A Night of Delicious Music & Sweet Confections,” takes place on February 2, 2010, ...from 7-9 pm.
Enjoy an evening of “5 Acts” at the beautiful Tudor Room in the Indiana Memorial Union. Guests will be treated to a chocolate fountain, handmade chocolate creations and music by Tim Reed & Friends. The program will include original songs by Tim and other pop and musical theater selections, performed in various combinations by Dan Reed, Zoe Reed, Buff Brown, Colin Hart, Jessica True, Holly Barnhart, and Ariel Simpson. Come hear a comedic song about a guy who is so depressed he looks forward to a telemarketer calling him, "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables, Tim and the incredible Ariel Simpson singing "The Prayer" (Celine Dion/Andrea Bocelli version), "Big Yellow Taxi" (Joni Mitchell) sung by an amazing 10 year old girl, a funny song about a guy who gets everything he wants in life because he can pass a football, and much more! Proceeds benefit the humanitarian mission of the Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Tickets are $25 each or $45 for couples. For tickets, you can stop by the chapter house at 411 E. 7th Street anytime Monday - Friday, 8:30 – 5:00 pm, or contact Tim Reed at (812) 322-7187.
