American Red Cross Thanks all Those who Helped During Flooding Disaster
The Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross sends its most heartfelt thanks to all the individuals, organizations, and businesses who came to the aid of their fellow Hoosiers during the recent floods in our area. Thanks to these financial and in-kind donations by our generous public, the Red Cross was able to provide immediate emergency assistance to those affected by providing food, shelter, clean-up and comfort kits, clothing, counseling, and other aid to those affected by the floods. We were moved by the outpouring of support and offers for help from all facets of our communities. When families turn to the Red Cross during times of disaster, it’s because of the compassion of our local community members that we’re able to provide comfort and hope to them.
